A few days ago, a model Meitu smartphone model number MP1801 was unexpectedly found on the website of the Chinese TENAA certification body but not accompanied by any images. Today, this page is now fully updated, giving us a glimpse of the pre-release design.
Looking at the first image, it is easy to see a cluster of three selfie cameras arranged horizontally and placed on the front of the machine. The sensors are quite large and are placed inside the notch section. In addition, the camera also comes with two small sensors located on either side of the camera cluster, the orange border on the upper and lower edges.
The back of the phone will be made of leather and metal. The top of the dual camera cluster is light pink, while the lower half is mint green with orange dots in the middle. Besides, it also has four holes at the bottom, including two errors on each side.
The case has a large hexagon shape with a metal chassis that cuts across the back and connects to the main body of the phone. Meitu MP1801 has a dual camera on the back and each camera side comes with dual LED flash. It has a volume control keypad on the left, while the power button along with another key (possibly the dedicated key to activate the camera) is located to the right.
According to TENAA, Meitu MP1801 will be equipped with a 6.21-inch OLED screen with Full HD + resolution, 2.6GHz processor, 8GB RAM and 128GB / 256GB of internal memory. The front camera includes three 12MP, 20MP, and 8MP sensors. Meanwhile, the dual camera on the back has a 12MP main sensor and an 8MP sub-sensor. It runs Android 9 Pie and comes with a 3400mAh battery.
After MeiTu has entered into a strategic partnership with Xiaomi, this brand has been enhanced with attention. As we wrote yesterday, the company will develop smartphones jointly, while if Xiaomi concentrates on the manufacture and sale of them, then MeiTu will share its technology of image processing.
Well, a slim front camera – is not technology? Such, and even with sensors of such high resolution, there is nobody before, so that it is impossible to exclude the option that after a while the triple frontal camera (if, of course, it will well recommend itself in MP1801) will also appear on smartphones Xiaomi.
