The long anticipation of Xiaomi entering the UK market was finally over last week and this came with the launch of some specific products which included the Mi electric scooter, the Mi 8 family (Mi 8 Pro, Mi 8, Mi 8 Lite), Redmi 6A entry-level smartphone and Mi Band 3 fitness tracker. The company is not taking it easy on the UK market as it also opened its first brick-and-mortar Mi Store in Westfield London, which is now the first and only official Mi Store in the UK. And as a form of welcoming its new UK customers, Xiaomi gave the first three in-store customers freebies while the first 300 customers received a special goody bag.
Alongside with the Mi 8 series, the company has also included amazing smartphones such as Pocophone F1 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro which is already available in Thailand and Indonesia and its also expected to hit the Indian market on the 22nd of November. All the aforementioned device have been available for purchase on Amazon, but with this introduction of this store, you can simply walk into the store and get the device. In The UK, the 6GB RAM + 64GB Storage variant of the Xiaomi Pocophone F1 costs £329 which is about $422 while the 6GB RAM + 128GB variant costs £349 (approximately $448).
The popular Android One Phones(Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite) was also brought by Xiaomi to the UK store. Other phones available for purchase in the Redmi series includes Xiaomi Redmi 6, Redmi 6A, Redmi Note 5, and Redmi S2. Other devices are also available for purchase in the store, such as the well know Xiaomi Mi Band 3 with multiple color strap, Mi Sports Bluetooth Earphones, Mi In-ear Headphones Pro 2 and Mi Headphones Comfort.
