The sub-brand of Oppo, Realme, will present in the coming weeks a new series of smartphones called Realme U following the great success of the first devices made by the company.
The company today through its Twitter page officially confirmed that it is actually working on a new series of smartphones, and also made it clear that the first smartphone of this new series will be equipped with a SoC MediaTek Helio P70 based on the Finmnet production process at 12m of TSMC.

At the moment we do not know what to really expect from this new series of Realme smartphones, but since one of these smartphones will debut with the Mediatek Helio P70, we can assume that the device can focus mainly on the photographic side, trying to compete with the Xiaomi Smartphones.
Bringing four ARM Cortex-A73 cores at a 2.1 GHz frequency and four ARM Cortex-A53 2.0 GHz cores, the Helio P70 opens the possibility for a 32MP camera or two 24MP + 16MP cameras. It also has a mechanism built into the hardware for EIS (” Electronic Image Stabilization “).
Without further information on the new or new U-series device (s), it is expected that the autonomy of the handsets equipped with the chipset is better since the new MediaTek SoC consumes up to 35% less energy when compared to its predecessor. The chip is manufactured in a 12nm architecture, is equipped with a Mali-G72 GPU and promises to give work to the competition.
The company, for the moment, has not revealed a release date of this new series Realme U, although rumors indicate that the device could be announced just before the end of the year, so you can boast of the “title” of the first smartphone in the world with the new Mediatek SoC on board.
