Today, a mysterious Realme smartphone with model number RMX1833 appeared in the Geekbench benchmark. It is known that the upcoming new product will work on MediaTek’s Helio P60 chipset, which also features the first Realme 1 smartphone.
Since the name of the smartphone is not yet known, there are suggestions that they may become Realme 3, although this is not yet confirmed. The novelty will become the second smartphone of the company with a MediaTek chipset, considering that the previous Realme 2, 2 Pro and C1 models work on Qualcomm chipsets.
As noted earlier, the MediaTek Helio P60 chipset with an 8-core processor and 4GB of RAM will be at the heart of the Realme RMX1833. For the operation of the device will be responsible for Android 8.1 Oreo. Speaking of points, in single-core and multi-core testing, the smartphone managed to score 1560 points and 5926 points, respectively.
The announcement of the novelty may take place early next year, since the executive director of Realme India, Madhav Sheth, previously announced that the company plans to release two devices by March 2019.
MediaTek has recently introduced a follower for the Helio P60 – the Helio P70 chipset, which is produced using a 12-nm process technology. And soon after, the executive director of Realme India confirmed that the company will release the first smartphone with the new Helio P70 chipset. He also noted that the device will not be the successor of smartphones Realme 2 or 2 Pro.
