Qualcomm unexpectedly brought another midrange processor, the Snapdragon 675. Why is it an accident, because in the case that both the Snapdragon 710 and the Snapdragon 670 already exist, the appearance of the Snapdragon 675 seems to have disrupted the overall layout. If subdivided, then its positioning will belong to the series 670 and Snapdragon 710. But after reading the analysis of this chip, it is a bit elusive.
The Snapdragon 675 uses an 11nm process, which is different from the Snapdragon 670 and the Snapdragon 710. In addition, the Snapdragon 675 is also the first product to use the Kryo 4 series CPU architecture. He is also ahead of the Snapdragon 845 in terms of architectural advancement, so its positioning is somewhat inconsistent with the name.
Just today, a digital blogger posted a screenshot of the running score on its Weibo. This is the engineering phone equipped with the mysterious processor in the GeekBench 4 running library. It has not appeared, so it is generally considered to be the running score data of the Snapdragon 675. Its single-core run is divided into 2267, and the multi-core run is divided into 6103. Whether it is single-core or multi-core running points have exceeded the Snapdragon 710.
It can be seen that the new Kryo 4 series architecture is much better than the Kryo 3 series architecture, so Qualcomm will let this low-end chip “kill” the high-end Opteron 710? Obviously not, although the CPU performance is very strong, the GPU performance of this processor is much worse, a bit lower than the Snapdragon 670, so Qualcomm is still very calculated.

As for the shipment time of this processor, it will be in the first quarter of 2019, and the replacements of the Snapdragon 670 and the Snapdragon 710 are also in the process of preparation, and their replacements are expected to wait until the middle of next year.
