Finow X3 Plus is yet another Chinese low-cost smartwatch, with Android OS offering a “Full” Lollipop based and in line with other specific wearable recently launched with the same operating system. Inside the smartwatch we’ll find a quad-core MediaTek MT6580 processor, supported by 1GB of RAM and 8GB of non-expandable internal memory.
The smartwartch for connectivity has the classic Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi (we guess b/g/n as it is not mentioned), GPS and a SIM slot (Micro SIM) with compatibility for GSM (850/900/1800/1900MHz) and WCDMA (850/1900/2100MHz). The display is a unit circular (the lower cut-free) with a diagonal of 1.3 inches and resolution 360 x 360 pixels.
The form factor rather reminiscent of our old acquaintances, especially the No.1 G3 , or one smartwatch that mimics the shape of the Samsung Gear S2. However, there is a clear difference in the technical equipment in favor of this new Finow X3 Plus, as well as the materials used (stainless steel on the Finow against the No.1 plastic).
The autonomy will be guaranteed with the 450mAh battery, but this means that the smartwatch will be a little thicker than usuall measures 46 x 47 x 13 mm.
The OS, as stated in the introduction, is a modded version of Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with Play Store pre-installed (and hence the ability to download many App) and many watch faces to choose from.
