Samsung will probably introduce two new smartphones in the near future. One of them is expected to be the Galaxy J6 Prime, with a new addition to the brand’s catalog: the trend is for it to be the company’s first handset to have a fingerprint reader on the side.
Until then, all other devices from the Korean manufacturer had the biometric sensor positioned on the back or the front portion of the device. As you can see in the following screenshots, the feature will be on the right side of the phone under the power button. The volume keys will be pressed to the left.
The official account of Samsung Mobile India also came to confirm the novelty, through a post in which makes clear the change of position of the fingerprint reader. The publication further confirms the presence of the so-called “infinite display” on the smartphone. See below:

According to the site SamMobile, the Galaxy J6 Prime should come equipped with a 6-inch HD + screen, a 1.6 GHz quad-core processor, 3 or 4GB of RAM and 32 or 64GB of internal space.
In the camera configurations, the Galaxy J6 Prime can count on dual main sensors of 13MP + 5MP and a front of 8MP. To top it off, there would be the 3300mAh battery and Android 8.1 Oreo as the operating system. The initial launch may occur first in India and then in Europe.
