The first Razer Phone was successful among the gamer community, and so the manufacturer has already confirmed that it should present a new edition of the device still in 2018. Only that no more detailed image of the device had leaked to give a possible face to the new smartphone. Today, however, a supposed rendering of the device was reported by Android Headlines.
The problem is that if you do not compare this new image with a picture of the old handset up close, you might not notice any difference between the Razer Phone 2 and its predecessor. Interestingly what else seems to have changed were the side edges, which became thicker.

The positioning of the cameras and sensors at the top edge also got a bit different and, if you look closely, you can see that the volume side buttons are bigger and more prominent. Besides, it’s practically the same as last year. There is, however, no image of the rear so we can compare the design as a whole. But considering the frontal look, we can assume that the back has not changed much either.
What about the hardware?
Inside, Android Headlines says there will not be much change either. Pinned on benchmark tests recently, the supposed Razer Phone 2 came with 8GB of RAM, the same amount as the previous device. The only notable change is, of course, the upgrade of the processor, which went from Snapdragon 835 to 845. In addition, by default, the smartphone should hit the market with Android Pie.
There is no confirmation of when this new smartphone can hit the market, but judging by the date on the rendered device screen, it is very likely that Razer chose October 10 to showcase their smartphone. We do not have any price expectations for now.
