A new video compares Apple‘s iPhone X to Samsung‘s Galaxy Note 9. The goal is to see which of the two is doing the best in real life. The iPhone X, announced a year ago, is already more powerful than the Galaxy Note 9 Geekbench test. Is he always in front in real condition? The answer is yes.
In the video, we can see that the same applications are opened one by one on each smartphone with the same order. There are applications from Apple (like Camera and Clock), apps from the App Store (like Snapchat, Instagram, YouTube or Spotify) and games (like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas, Super Mario Run or Minecraft). Here, the iPhone X has opened all applications in 2 minutes and 26 seconds, against 2 minutes and 53 seconds for the Galaxy Note 9.
The second test is to open the same applications that are now in multitasking (and therefore in RAM). Here, the iPhone X has opened everything in 45 seconds, against 42 seconds for the Galaxy Note 9. The two models are almost tied, while the Galaxy Note 9 has twice as much RAM (6GB, against 3GB for the iPhone X). This shows that iOS is well optimized.
Other tests show that the iPhone X (which runs under the iOS 12 beta) is faster than the Galaxy Note 9 in terms of ignition. Regarding facial recognition, both smartphones are worth it. It is good to specify that the facial recognition of the iPhone X is in 3D, where the Galaxy Note 9 is in 2D.
