Today the Motorola held a press conference in Wuhan china and officially launched the 3 new Smartphone: Moto P30, Moto E5 Plus, and Moto Z3. The latter 2 are known quantities, as they have been launched in other markets already. The Z3 was announced on August 2, and the E5 Plus has already been unveiled in India, which leaves the P30 as the center of attraction. Here are the price and other details of the new Moto P30, Moto Z3, and Moto E5 Plus.
Moto P30
As we previously expected, the Moto P30 is an intermediate device entry almost identical to iPhone X in terms of design. Its settings and price, however, are far from being compared to Apple’s premium device.
The smartphone is the same in any variant, coming with 6GB of RAM and Snapdragon 636 intermediate SoC. It has also been confirmed that the P30 will have 6.2-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2246 x 1080 pixels ( Full HD +) and in the 19: 9 aspect ratio.
In terms of photography, the gadget comes equipped with a dual camera in the back, counting on sensors of 16 MP and 5MP; On the front, the camera for selfies captures images with the 12MP sensor. The battery to handle it all has 3000 mAh of capacity.
As it is a mobile device aimed at the Chinese market, the P30 will feature the ZUI 4.0, Lenovo’s proprietary user interface that will work with the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system. It’s possible that a Western version will be available later with Android One.
With the launch scheduled for September 15, the Moto P30 will be sold in China for the price of 2099 yuan (approximately $304) in the 64GB storage version, and 2499 yuan (equivalent to $362) in the 128GB variant of storage. Three color options are available: black (bright black), white (ice jade white) and Aurora, with gradient effect.
Moto Z3
The Moto Z3 features a 6.75mm thick solid metal frame and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on both the front and back. It has a 6.01 inch Super AMOLED screen, Full HD + resolution (2160 x 1080 pixels), 18: 9 aspect ratio. Inside, the machine is equipped with high-end Snapdragon 835 processor, combined with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal memory, support for expansion via microSD card slot.
About the camera, the Moto Z3 carries a 12MP dual-camera system on the back, which comes with advanced features like laser-based autofocus, PDAF, deep focus and two-tone LED flash. In addition, the camera also has an 8MP front camera for selfie shots and video calling. Z3 comes with a 3000mAh battery, which comes with a ZUI 4.0-based Oreo Android 4.0 OS. Besides, it also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.
The bottom of the Moto Z3’s back has a 16-pin connector for attaching various Moto Mods accessories. Some of the Moto Mods available for this handset include the 5G Moto Mod that will be available in early 2019, an Eye-Hasselblad camera with 10x zoom, a battery activated with Turbo Charger and JBL stereo speakers. and a projector. Moto Z3 is priced at 3399 yuan ($492) and will start shipping in China from today. Only one color option is black.
Moto E5 Plus
For the Moto E5 Plus, this phone has a 6 inch IPS screen, which uses HD + (720 x 1440 pixels) resolution. Inside, the hardware-powered hardware comes from Qualcomm’s Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor, which incorporates 3GB / 4GB of RAM and 32GB / 64GB of internal memory, supporting expansion via the microSD card slot.
About the camera, the Moto E5 Plus is equipped with a 12MP dual camera on the back, which allows for laser focus, PDAF, EIS anti-shake and two-tone LED flash. For selfie photography, users can use the 5MP camera with LED flash on the front. The included battery comes with a capacity of 5000mAh, supports fast 18W charging. Besides, it also has a fingerprint sensor on the back.
On the price, Moto’s price for the E5 Plus is 1299 yuan (equivalent to $188) for the 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal memory. Meanwhile, the higher-end version with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory is priced at 1699 yuan ($246). The phone has two color options: Gray (Monet Gray) and Yellow (Van Gogh Gold). The phone will start shipping in China today.
