Even before the announcement Meizu 16th and 16th Plus it was reported that together with the flagships should show a more budgetary Meizu 8X, which was supposed to work on the most up-to-date mid-level processor Snapdragon 710. But a little later, the head of the Chinese company, Jack Wong, said that the device will change its name and come out as Meizu 16X.
The head of the company told quite a bit about the future novelty. Meizu 16X will receive a new Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, an under-screen fingerprint reader and minimal differences in appearance. On the other characteristics and the price of Meizu 16X is still unknown, but most likely, most of them will be similar to Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus.
The other day the future novelty was lit up in the Geekbench test, codenamed m1872. The smartphone in the single-core test was 1851 points, and in the multi-core test – 5558. For comparison, the main competitor of the device, Xiaomi Mi 8 SE, showed the result no worse and scored in the similar test 1827 and 5727 points respectively.
However, he did reveal some information about the Meizu 16X such as Snapdragon 710 chipset, display sensor and small differences in the design as compared to the Meizu 16 and Meizu 16 Plus. This new smartphone is expected to see the light of the day next month (September 2018).
