As anticipated by a previous teaser, Lei Jun’s company Xiaomi launched a new terminal during the ChinaJoy 2018. No Pro 2 at this lap, on the other hand, the new Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro GTX has arrived, which promises improved graphics performance.
The company’s new laptop does not differ much from the previous version. The technical data sheet is essentially the same and the only difference is represented by the graphics sector. In fact, on board the Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro GTX, we find a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q graphics card (with 4 GB of dedicated GDDR5 memory), which promises improved performance and significant energy savings. For lovers of numbers and data, Xiaomi announced that the new solution offers a 72% improvement over the previous MX150.
The rest of the specifications, as already underlined, does not differ from the first chapter of the range. Also, in this case, the premium notebook will arrive in two versions, with Intel Core i7-8550U and Intel Core i5 of the eighth generation, respectively with 16GB and 8GB of RAM.
The prices required for the new generation of the Mi gaming notebook are 8999 yuan ($1309) for the version with i7 CPU, GTX 1060 6GB, 16GB RAM and 256GB of storage SSD + 1 TB HHD while for the version with CPU i5, GTX 105oTi 4GB, 8GB RAM and 256GB of SSD storage + 1 TB HHD are required 6699 yuan (about $974).
With these characteristics, Xiaomi affirms that it is a ” performance monster for eSports ” as a slogan. All models of Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro GTX will be on sale in China from August 16. Nothing has been said about the availability in other countries, but arriving will still have to wait a few months.
