At a private event in Chicago, Motorola unveiled its flagship Moto Z3 midrange smartphone with 5G high-speed wireless connectivity. The Motorola Z3 has a fairly similar design to previous Motorola products with a sturdy metal frame, dual front glass, and an indispensable dual camera clamshell. The company’s approach is to direct users to the use of accessories attached to the back of the machine called the MotoMods. In addition, one-touch fingerprint sensors are placed on the right side instead of the front or back as other regular Android products.
In terms of configuration, the Moto Z3 is equipped with a 6-inch screen, 18: 9 aspect ratio with Full HD + resolution and a SuperAMOLED panel surface that promises a good image quality, vivid color. The Moto Z3 is still equipped with a flagship processor, the Snapdragon 835, which comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal memory. Finally, the M3 Z3 owns a 3000mAh battery that supports Qualcomm QuickCharge.
The Z3 is equipped with a dual camera unit with the same resolution of 12MP, f / 2.0 aperture, 1.25um pixel size, and 2-tone LED Flash. The difference comes from a camera that owns a monochrome image sensor that produces fancy black and white photos. The front of the camera is an 8MP resolution, f / 2.0 aperture, 1.12um pixel size, and 84-degree wide angle.
Targeting the super-fast 5G mobile network that will be deployed next year in the US, Motorola has created a dedicated MotoMod kit that integrates the X50 network modem from Qualcomm for the Moto Z3. In addition, this accessory also provides users with 2000mAh of battery life to extend the life of the device. Moto Z3 is priced at $480 exclusively distributed by Verizon (USA). With the 5G MotoMods, if you buy in the moment, users spend only $50 instead of the official price of $100.
