OPPO F9: Hands-On Photos Leaked Out, Releasing On August 15

Oppo is currently working on its next selfie-centric F-series smartphones – Oppo F9 and F9 Pro. The Oppo F9 has now been spotted in some hands-on images revealing some features and color variants of the phone as well. A new teaser has also revealed that the Oppo F9 will be launching in Vietnam on August 15 and it will be featuring a 25-megapixel AI driven front camera.

While the official teaser that revealed the Sunrise Gold gave us our first clear look at the gradient design, the hands-on image gives us a better idea of how the color option will look like in real life. As you can see above, the dual-tone finish looks stunning with the patterns being different from what we have seen on the OPPO F7 and even the RealMe 1. On the back of the handset, we also see a dual-camera setup with the two sensors laid out horizontally and an LED flash module next to it. The smartphone also features a circular fingerprint sensor on the back. The F9 Starry Purple and Twilight Blue also look very impressive, with the Twilight Blue version featuring diamond cut patterns.

Notably, the other teasers have already revealed that the Oppo F9 will arrive with VOOC flash charging technology. This is a quick charging technique that is touted to give up to 2 hours of battery life in just 5 minutes of charging.

The Oppo F9 is also stipulated for an India launch as confirmed by their Twitter India handle and there’s also a Pro variant in tow. Oppo revealed that the Oppo F9 will be launching in Vietnam on August 15.
