Huawei starts sales of the Honor MagicBook portable computer in a modification equipped with a touch-sensitive screen. The laptop will be offered in versions with an Intel Core i5-8250U and AMD R5 2500U. The amount of RAM in both cases is 8GB. The drive is a solid-state module with a capacity of 256GB.
From the 1st of August exclusively on the site (JD.com), there will be a version with a touchscreen. In terms of technical characteristics, Honor Magicbook Touchscreen does not represent anything new. There will be a variant with an Intel Core i5-8250U (4/8 x 1.6 – 3.4 GHz) processor, 8GB of RAM, a 256GB PCIe SSD and a mobile NVIDIA GeForce MX150 (2GB of internal memory) for about 5699 yuan ($834). The second version with AMD Ryzen 5 2500U (4/8 x 2.0 – 3.6 GHz) and a similar amount of operational and permanent memory, but without a mobile video card, will cost t 4599 yuan ($673).
Other characteristics have not changed. Among them, a 14-inch IPS Full HD-screen, four speakers with support for Dolby Sound System, a module of wireless interfaces Wi-Fi (2 x 2 MIMO), a fingerprint scanner and a capacious battery at 57 Wh, which can provide up to 12 hours of watching the video or surfing the web. Preliminary order for the purchase of versions of Honor Magicbook with a touchscreen has already been issued by more than 240,000 people. You also get to choose between three color variants, namely Glacier Silver, Starry Sky, and Nebula Purple.
