After the launch of the Xiaomi Mi A2 and Mi A2 Lite in Madrid this week, the Asian firm is still preparing new devices, more powerful and even cheaper. In this case, under a new brand, we have now learned more details about the Xiaomi PocoPhone F1 thanks to the Bluetooth SIG certification.
Until now we had known some information about this new terminal, as it will be the cheapest Snapdragon 845 processor phone on the market, which is undoubtedly a statement of intent by the Chinese.
This is at least what we have been getting to know in recent days, that the PocoPhone F1, Xiaomi’s new mobile for emerging markets, will have a very tight price, which will almost exceed $450, which is quite an achievement when we talk about a phone with Snapdragon 845 processor. On the other hand, this new phone will have some features worthy of the top of the range, and ultimately, it would be the cheapest mobile phone on the market. Now in the Bluetooth SIG certification of the phone, we have known several details.
In addition to showing that it will have the Snapdragon 845 processor, it also reveals that it will have a dual camera, with dual 12MP and 5MP camera, with a size of these pixels of 1.4 and dual pixel autofocus on the main sensor of the camera. On the other hand, the front camera of the Pocophone F1 will have a 20MP camera, which will offer Super Pixel technology, capable of capturing much more light in low light environments, eliminating the usual noise of this type of photos.
This step by Bluetooth SIG also shows that the Pocophone F1 will have AI Face Unlock, which will unlock the phone with our face, even in the darkest environments, thanks to artificial intelligence, which we imagine will also be present in the camera and other aspects of this phone.
As Roland Quandt leaked this week, the PocoPhone F1 will go on sale in Eastern Europe for 420 euros ($490), for the version with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, and 460 euros ($536) for the 6GB version of RAM and 128GB of storage, besides remembering that its screen will be 5.99 inches with Full HD + resolution, we will see when Xiaomi launches this new terminal, and if we can easily import it.
