The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 was announced in February and comes in various colors and variations. Xiaomi‘s popular mobile has three versions of 3GB + 32GB, 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 64GB. Today the Chinese giant introduced in China it’s a more advanced version with an increased amount of internal memory.
Initially, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 in the top configuration was equipped with 6GB of operating and 64GB of internal memory. Now users will be an available model for 6GB/128GB of memory, and the price remained the same. Otherwise, we have the same smartphone with 5.99-inch Full HD + screen, eight-core Snapdragon 636 chipset and a rear dual camera with 12MP + 5MP and a front 13MP module.
The capacity of the battery is 4000 mAh. Unlike the recently presented Xiaomi Mi A2 on Android One, the device comes with the proprietary MIUI 9 shell (and the developers in the meantime are finishing the MIUI 10 ).
On the home market, Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 with 128GB of memory will be available from July 27 for 1699 yuan, at the current exchange rate is slightly more than $250. It will replace the model by 6GB/64 GB, and younger versions meanwhile have fallen in price to 999 yuan equivalent to $147 (3/32 GB) and 1299 yuan at the current exchange rate $192 (4/64 GB).
