Asus, having presented the ZenFone Max Pro M1 with 3GB and 4GB of RAM memory, brings us to a new variant of a larger RAM capacity. This, at first, was scheduled to leave in the month of June, a sign by which we already assumed that the company had made the decision not to take it for sale. Although the delay of the same has not been more than that, just a setback, this device has already become official in an announcement given by the firm.
The Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 is privileged with the same characteristics and technical specifications of the two lower variants presented in the month of April, but with a larger RAM of 6GB capacity as we have already indicated. It comes equipped with an IPS LCD screen of 5.99 inches of FHD resolution length of 2,160 x 1,080 pixels. The panel is set to an 18: 9 setting, under a 2.5D semi-whisked glass and reaches a maximum brightness of 450 nits but lacks a notch.
In its internal section, the device is powered by a processor introduced last year, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 eight-core (8x Kyro-260 1.8GHz) 64bits architecture and 14nm. At the same time, it has an Adreno 509 GPU and an internal 64GB storage space expandable via microSD. It runs Android 8.1 Oreo in its pure state and has a fingerprint reader in the back.
The battery of this mobile is one of its strongest points, being this 5000mAh with support for fast charging 2A / 10W that offers us a full charge in just 2.42 hours. It is capable of providing up to 199 hours of music playback, up to 25.3 hours of FullHD video playback, up to 28 hours of Wi-Fi browsing and up to 42 hours of 3G talk time.
The photographic section is equipped with the same sensors, in which a double configuration of 13MP (f / 2.2) + 5MP resolution is placed on the back of the Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1, and a unique 8MP camera with aperture f / 2.2 and soft tone LED flash is positioned above the front panel for selfies, video calls, and face unlocking. With respect to video recording, the rear camera is capable of recording in 4K.
