The last week, Alldocube leaked the X tablet, but no any words about the price and release date. Now company announced for early August through crowdfunding that should take place – unfortunately – on Indiegogo, as we know that AlldoCube X is the new high-end model of the Chinese brand that we have been following for a long time now.
Its 10.5-inch display should offer a very beautiful image simply by embedding a SuperAMOLED slab in 2560 x 1600 pixels. I have never crossed a bad slab of this type, the suppliers being few, the quality of the productions is always of the first order and very homogeneous.
With a 16:10 display, the AlldoCube X tablet will offer a resolution of 228 dots per inch and an advertised contrast ratio of 100,000 to 1. This could make it an excellent tool for various uses, both for surfing and consultation. movies or images but also for reading documents and maybe even digital comics.
SuperAMOLED technology will integrate the touch layer directly into the slab, which allows the tablet to measure only 6.9 mm thick. Inside this tablet, there will be a six-core SoC MediaTek MT8176, the same as used in the Mi Pad 3 Xiaomi. A solution consisting of two Cortex-A72 clocked at 2.1 GHz and four Cortex-A53 cores running at 1.6 GHz. This set is associated with a PowerVR GX6250 graphics circuit that offers great benefits on the Xiaomi tablet.
This SoC will be associated with 4GB of RAM and a 64GB storage of eMMC. A MicroSD card reader will extend this storage with an additional 128GB card, maximum indicated by the manufacturer for his tablet.
The AlldoCube X will offer a fingerprint reader to identify the Android 8.1 Oreo sessions installed on it. The rest of the connection is a single type-C USB port used to recharge the tablet and transfer data. A 3.5 mm stereo audio jack is also present for headphone connection.
The internal battery is an 8000mAh with a fast charging function MTK PE, the fast charging format of Mediatek. The Alldocube X announces 5.5 hours of autonomy in the intensive use type 3D game. She will be able to keep the tablet alive for 72 hours of sleep. The battery is certified to display 85% of its capacity after 1000 cycles. An 18-watt Type-C USB charger will accompany the machine. And two webcams are embedded in front and back of the device. Both in 8MP. A pair of speakers signed by AKG complete the picture, they are integrated into the machined aluminum chassis of the tablet.
Its advertised public price will be set at $269.99, but for the Indiegogo backers, it will be slashed down to $219 with a 19% discount in crowdfunding early August.
