The presentation of Samsung Galaxy Note 9 seems to be almost upon us. This smartphone, in fact, will see the light during the Galaxy Unpacked event to be held on August 9, 2018, but now it seems that the rumors have unveiled almost everything with regard to its data sheet and many of its features. We expect this new flagship of the house to bring with it a new S-Pen, which inherits the main camera from Galaxy Note 8 and has a RAM of 8GB.
To complete the picture on this smartphone, Geekbench makes his voice heard again, bringing in his database a new model with obvious oddities. According to the results of the benchmark, the model SM-N960X – expected as an unlocked variant of Galaxy Note 9 in the United States of America – would be equipped with an octa-core processor with a frequency of 1.69 GHz, different characteristics from the Exynos 9810 CPU waiting for this device.
The data released by the website would seem to refer to the Samsung Exynos 9820 SoC, expected on Samsung Galaxy S10. Furthermore, the amount of RAM analyzed would be 4GB, despite all the rumors so far have talked about a minimum capacity of 6GB.
All these details communicated by Geekbench leave us a little ‘open-mouthed because they could anticipate the presentation of a further variant of the smartphone not leaked. However, analyzing the data, this model gets scores regarding its processor significantly higher than those of Samsung Galaxy S9 +.
Comparing the data of this Galaxy Note 9 with those of the current top of the range S series, we find a score on the analysis of the single-core respectively 4089 against 3669 points, while equal to 12246 against 8878 points on the multi-core.
They are incredible differences that would bring this new smartphone Samsung to achieve excellent performance, surpassing iPhone 8 Plus and its A11 bionic (currently with the highest score) in the site ranking.
