Pixel 3 XL Render: New Image Showing Google’s Upcoming Smartphone With All the Familiar Details

A few months before the launch of a new flagship smartphone, the leaks start, we’re used to that. The expected pixel 3 XL from Google, however, the order of the leaks is a different than usual, because even before the first technical data, there are now photos of the smartphone. Now, a designer based on the previous photos has created a rendered image with which the look of the smartphone is even better.

With leaks around new hardware there is usually first the information about the existence of a device, then follow from supplier circles the technical data and only then there are the first photos of the pre-production models and shortly before then usually the advertising material with all further information. But with the Google Pixel 3 XL we just skip step 2 and still have virtually no information on the features.

On the above render picture, you can see a design of the Pixel 3 XL, as it might actually look like. The hobbyist has created it based on the first photo from Thursday night, the few hours later new leaked photos are not included – but these had also no further information on the design of the front and the back delivered. The above render image is still accurate.

In the picture, the smartphone actually looks very chic, but that is probably also the dark background and the dark wallpaper on the smartphone, because this is the “notch” not so good to see, which is still a very basic element and the pixel 3 looks like a “me too” smartphone instead of a new innovation – but that’s the case with all other smartphones . The “chin” at the bottom, however, I think that is hardly disturbing.

According to previous news, Google Pixel 3 series phones will be equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, preloaded with the latest Android P system. In the second half of this year, we can expect to see the true appearance of these new Smartphones. The display will probably have a size of 6.2 inches and thus grow only in the size of the recess. The pure housing should, therefore, be about the same size as last year’s Pixel 2 XL.
