After the success of the first Xiaomi device with Android One arrived on the market last year, the Chinese brand returns to the office with Xiaomi Mi A2, which has just arrived on Geekbench. According to tests conducted on Geekbench, Xiaomi Mi A2 managed to get a score of 1630 on the single-core, while it reaches 4657 for the multi-core. The processor on board the device should be a Snapdragon 660, with 4GB of RAM and Android 8.1 Oreo on board.
Just as Xiaomi Mi A1 was based on Mi 5X, the new Mi A2 will presumably be based on Xiaomi Mi 6X: this could mean 64GB of internal storage, and even a variant with 6 / 128GB. The device should be equipped with a large 6-inch display, with a 20MP front camera and most likely a dual rear camera, already seen on Xiaomi Mi A1 but with improved sensors: according to the rumor should be the main sensor 12MP and a 20MP secondary.
Among other things we will find Android 8.1 Oreo stock already pre-installed, a USB Type-C connector, the 3.5mm audio jack, and a 2910mAh battery, but equipped with Quick Charge 3.0. It is not known yet when Mi A2 will be presented. The premiere of the Mi A1 model took place in August 2017, and the smartphone hit the market in September.
