Boasting beauty, UMIDIGI is betting all its chips on its new releases, the Z2 and Z2 Pro. As it turns out, the manufacturer has improved a lot with respect to design, build quality and performance. Therefore, the manufacturer released a video placing the UMIDIGI Z2 next to the famous Huawei P20. Both have few edges on the screen. However, the Z2 has a 6.2-inch Full HD + screen, while the Huawei P20 5.8-inch Full HD +. Watch the following video:
As we noted, Huawei’s choice to include the digital sensor in the front reduced the screen ratio, leaving the device with a lower edge. On the other hand, the Z2 got a much smaller lower edge. In addition, Z2 has a hidden navigation bar and supports full-screen mode.
Regarding the operating system, UMIDIGI includes Android 8.1 Oreo, while Huawei P20 uses the company’s EMUI system based on Android 8.1. Meanwhile, in the back, both one and the other have the color gradient, a trend that some manufacturers are sticking.
Although similar, the handsets have great differences in design. The Z2 features a curved glass finish on all sides, while the P20 boasts a flat glass. The most demanding ensure that the Z2 is more ergonomic due to the rounded edges.
When available, the UMIDIGI Z2 is already in pre-sale, and whoever gets the handset will now get a discount of $50, where it will only come out $249.99. Taking into account all it has to offer, aside from the price that is up to 50% more than the Huawei P20, which costs $599.99 on Amazon, it is well worth choosing the UMIDIGI Z2.
