Today, Lenovo held a conference in Beijing and this conference not only launched the “new flagship” Lenovo Z5 but also released a Budget Oriented Smartphone Lenovo K5 Note. Executive Vice President of Lenovo Group and president of ChinaLiu Jun, said at the press conference that under the new strategic vision of “Smart Connect, Serve China”, Lenovo China is making a sturdy reform.
The Lenovo Smartphone will be integrated into Lenovo China and will become an intelligent thing. One of the core hubs, and will also leverage Lenovo China’s channel and resource advantages to gain greater room for development.
The Lenovo K5 Note equipped with a 6-inch IPS display with the modern 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, there’s a Snapdragon 450 processor along with two type memory combination like 3GB + 32GB and 4GB + 64GB. For camera section, the K5 Note uses a 16MP camera on the rear with AI integration and an 8MP front-facing shooter.
The device runs on ZUI 4.0 that claims to never freeze, including the process frozen CPU speed 25%, memory release 30%, U-Touch 4.0 full-screen era more comfortable gesture operation; AI music voice to get a word; close ears automatically Answering and other features and has support for dual SIM + micro SD card for storage expansion of up to 256GB.
There’s a 3760mAh battery to power the device. Support for face unlock is also present along with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Lenovo K5 Note will be sold in 3 colors – Black, Gold, and Blue for 799 Yuan ($125) for the 3+32GB variant and 999 Yuan ($155) for the 4+64GB variant.
