Today Huawei announces that from June 30, Huawei Mate 8, P9, P9 Plus, Honor 8, Honor V8, Honor Note 8, and Honor Play 6X will upgrade to EMUI 8.0 OS based on Android 8.0 OS.
Huawei Mate 8 is the oldest phone among them, which was released in November 2015, using EMUI 4.0 OS based on Android 6.0 OS. Right now it will upgrade to latest Android/EMIUI OS.
