Igeekphone, November 26 news, technology media flatpanelshd published a blog post yesterday (November 25), reporting that LG’s G5 OLED TV is certified to support 4K 165Hz.
As previously reported by Igeekphone, the C5 and G5 are certified by the Korea Mechanical, Electrical and Electronic Testing Institute (KTC) as OLED55C5SNA (including derivative OLED55C5CNA, OLED55C5ENA) and OLED65G5KNA. The manufacturer is LG Indonesia factory, from the name should correspond to 55 inch C5 and 65 inch G5.
According to the ClearMR certification from industry standards body the Video Electronics Standards Association (VESA), the 65-inch LG OLED65G5 TV achieves a refresh rate of 165Hz at 4K resolution (3840 x 2160 pixels). For comparison, the 2024 G4 OLED refresh rate is 144Hz, and the earlier model refresh rate is 120Hz.
