Huawei announced us today two new devices in China. One is Huawei Honor Note 8, a 6.6-inch phablet, while the other one is Huawei Honor 5, a budget smartphone.
Honor 5 has a 5-inch HD (1280 x 720) screen, with a 64-bit quad-core MediaTek MT6735P processor, with T720 GPU, 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage expandable up to 128GB. It will have installed Android Lollipop. The Huawei Honor 5 weighs 138 grams and measures 143.8 x 72. X 8.9mm. For camera will have an 8MP camera on the rear and a 2MP front-facing camera. The battery will be only 2,200mAh and it will have dual SIM slots. The phone will be available in White, Gold, and Black and with a price of CNY 599 ($90). For sure this price makes it one of the best budget phones in the market. The device has also an “Easy Key” on the left side of the mobile. We guess users will be able to assign an app or a function to that key to get a shortcut.
Huawei Honor 5 Play will be available on sale in China for beginning from tomorrow. When it will be available to other countries is not known. We guess someone will be able to find it through third party sellers, as chances of the phone launching in Europe or the US are extremely low.
